BOY EMPLOYMENT SCHEME

BISSINGTON SCOUT CAMP. GENEROUS PUBLIC SUPPORT. The committee of the Boy Unemployment Scheme, which met on Friday, is encouraged by tho support received from the public. In addition to cash donations, Mr Cliff has donated 500 circulars; Mr Wilson, of tho Nurseries, is supplying tho small fruit trees; Mr Edmondsen, the moulds for coucreto posts, and one of his employees free labour in installing this work; Mr Chadwick, of tho Fletcher Construction Co., a concrete mixer; Mr Barton, three bags of cement. Promises of chairs ami kitchen utensils have also been received. Tho estimate of the amount required (£300), in addition to cottage and facilities provided by Mr Absolom, is made up as follows:— Material for additional buildings 100 Cooking utensils, bedding, etc. .. 35 Timber for tables, bunks, etc. .. 15 Tools 7 Fowlhouse, fowls ami cow bail .. 2.1 Incidental IS Payment to man in charge .. .. 100 Total £3OO Tho secretary nr any member of the committee, will be, glad Io give the fullest information in regard to tho scheme.
