After an existence of 38 years the Gisborne Racing Club decided at a special meeting to-day to amalgamate with the Poverty Bay Turf Club, a special committee’s report on the project being approved. The amalgamation is to take effect from the beginning of next racing year. In future all races will bo held on the Turf Club’s course at Makaraka,
