The Minister for Defence, the Hon. J. G. Cobb, announces that H.M.S. Diomede will visit Sydney in March for the opening of the new harbour bridge. She will leave Whangaroa on March 10th, and on the way across the Tasman Sea she will meet the Royal Australian Navy and accompany it for the rest of the journey. She will be in Sydney from March 14th to March 22nd.
