FIVE-ROOMED HOUSE DESTROYED. By Telegraph—Press Assn.— Copyright Creymouth, Jan. 25. A modern. five-roomed house it Aratika was destroyed by fire yesterday morning The house was owned by the Aratika Sawmilling Coy. The tenant, L Levert, was absent at the time. Incendiarism is suspected, and the police are making inquiries. There was insurance on the house with the South British (Christchurch) Coy. for an amount unknown. The furniture was insured for £l5O in the British Traders Coy. STOCK OF WALLPAPER LOST. Cisborne, Jan. 25. Fire gutted the premises of Mrs C. Randle, destroying an extensive stock of wallpaper etc. Mrs Randle had a narrow escape.
