SWIMMING AT HAVELOCK
WEDNESDAY NIGHT'S CARNIVAL NAPIER CLUB’S VISIT. Another fino programme has been prepared for Wednesday night’s carnival at the Havelock baths, the events being as follow:— Nimon Cup 100 yards, Christie Cup 75 yards, B grade 50 yards, schoolboys’ 25 yards, schoolgirls’ 25 yards, open diving, learners’ diving, ladies’ 50 yards, teams’ races, candle race, corkbobbmg, and a polo match between teams representing the Napier and Havelock clubs. Entries close with the caretaker of the baths at 9 o’clock to-morrow evening.
