Albert Hatton Taylor, aged 29, a labourer, who was refused permission to land in Sydney, and on returning by the UlimaToa to Auckland yesterday, was arrested by detectives, was charged in the Police Court to-day that, at Wellington, on November 27, with intent to deariva Nellie Tucker of possession of her son, Donald, aged 8, he unlawfully took him to Sydney. On the application of the police, the accused was remanded to appear at .Wanganui to-morrow.—Press Assn.
