(Own Correspondent). The annual meeting of the Women’s Christian Temperance Union was held yesterday afternoon at St. John’s vestry. There were a large number of members present. The report of last year’s work was very satisfactory and encouraging. The following were elected to office for the coming year:—President, Mrs. Dyson: vice-presidents, Mesdames McLean, Bibby, and Robertson; secretary, Mrs. Papperill; recording secretary, Miss Johnston: treasurer, Mrs. McFarlane: White Ribbon agent, Miss Bibby; notable davs, Miss Patterson; flowers and hospital missions.
