JUNIOR GRADE GAME. RUGBY DEFEAT WHAKATU. The junior grade cricket game played on Saturday between Rugby and Whakatu resulted in a good win. for the former. Batting first, Rugby made 164, declaring with five wickets down. W. Pearson knocked up an unbeaten 76 and Anderson contributed 54fl Other double figure scorers were R. Pearson 12 and Campbell 10. Bainbridge took two wickets for 22 runs. Ross two for 43 and Love one for 34. Whakatu were dismissed for 70, Ross 15, B. Anderson 14, Lourie 13 and Love 10 being the principal scorers.
