WALK ROUND WORLD

TWO NEW ZEALANDERS. START FROM AUCKLAND. A decision to walk round the world, that is, as much of tho world as can be walked on, has been made by two New Zealanders, Messrs. F. Dunford and H. Clouston. The former is 43 years of age and a resident of Rakaia, the latter 23 years of age and a resident of Wanganui. They expect to wa]k across most of Australia after working their way across from New Zealand, and they hope that the next stage will be through Asia, in the direction of China. “The record for walking round the world is supposed to be six years,’’said Mr. Dunford, “and we hope to bo able to beat that by a big margin. •'
