I Notice is hereby given that at a Special Meeting of the Hawke’s Bay County Council held on Monday, the 10th day of August, 1931, the following Resolution was passed:— 1. That the Council do borrow the sum of £16,500 under the provisions of Sections 50 to 53 (inclusive) of The Hawke’s Bay Earthquake Act, 1931, for the purpose of paying the cost of repairing damage caused by the recent earthquake to the works and property of or under the control of the Corporation of The Hawke’s Bay County. 2. That application be made to The Local Government Loans Board for its sanction to the borrowing of the said sum.

AND NOTICE IS HEREBY ALSO GIVEN that the said Resolution will be submitted for confirmation at an Ordinary Meeting of the said Council to be held on Monday, the 14th day of September, 1931, at 12 noon at the office of the said Council in Browning Street, Napier. Any person having any objection to the said proposal is called upon to submit the same to the said Council not later than the day preceding the said day for confirming the said Resolution.
