The merging of the activities of the Napier Technical College with those of the Napier High School following the earthquake has caused considerable dissatisfaction among members of what was formerly the Napier Technical College Board, In a fetter received by the board of managers of the Sodding Memorial College, Auckland, at a meeting on Thursday support in protesting against the union of the schools was sought. It was stated that the Napier board had agreed to unification of control, but not to the absorption of the technical education in the high school. The Auckland board instructed its delegates to the conference in Wellington to support at their discretion any remit on the matter sent forward by the former Napier board.
