REVISION OF TREATIES
MUSSOLINI’S DEMANDS.
[United Pre** Association—By Cable— Copyright.) (Received 30, 9.55 a.m.) Berlin, Dec. 29.
A message from Signor Mussolini appeared on Christmas Day in the Nationalist “Tag” alongside a message from Herr Hugonberg, the Nationalist leader who is the chief proprietor of tho paper. Mussolini recalled his references to “avoiding war by revising treaties,” and stated that Italy demanded a revision pot from national egotism but principally for reasons of justice and morality which alone could form the basis of a lasting peace. Hugenberg says Mussolini’s statements bring Italy out from the ring of powers allied against Germany in the war.
