HAWKE'S BAY JOCKEY CLUB
NEW YEAR MEETING 10/. TOTALISATOR The Hawke’s Bay Jockey Club’s summer meeting on Thursday and Friday should, from all points of view, be a very successful one, very large acceptances have been received and the horses are of a good class, jo that some good racing should be witnessed. The decision to issue 10/- tickets on the totalisator is likely too, to find great favour with the public, and to induce a vary large attendance. The club is to be commended upon its initiative in providing facilities for the small bettor who, at the present, has to restrict the amount of his investments. A review of the fields cngacd on Thursday will appear in the “Tribune” on Wednesday.
