There was a good attendance at the Kilbirni* Stadium on Saturday night, when some excellent and exciting dirt track motor eyele raring occurred. Undoubtedly the star rider of the eight was Wally Kilraistcr, who won th* contest for the Golden Helmet and also the international flying six invitation scratch race and the first semi-final of the grand holiday handicap. His time was 85 seconds, which constitutes a New Zealand record for a standing start, the previous record of 85 2-5 seconds bring held jointly by Kilmister and W. Harvic.
