WAIPAWA
(Own Correspondent.) The Band of the Jubilee Institute for the Blind visited Waipawa ou Thursday, when they were accorded a civic reception by the Mayor, Mi H. H Hunt. In the evening they gave a very delightful concert in the Municipal Theatre to a large audience The programme consisted of instrumental items, songs, recitations and an illustration of reading by the Braille system. In the c<urse of the proceedings Mr Clutha Mackenzie, who is in charge, explained the objects of the tour and tendered bis thanks to all who had assisted in any way to make the visit to Waipawa a success. It is anticipated that a profit of some £2O will result Iron, lhe concert.
