VOTICE is hereby given that tho Land and Income Tax Amendment Act, 1930, empowers the Commissioner to make an allowance by way of depreciation of premises actually used in the production of assessable income. As tho returns of income already forwarded for the year ended 31st March, 1930, were made under tho old provisions, taxpayers who are eligible for a reduction under this heading are required on or before the 11th October, 1930, to furnish me with tho necessary particulars on forms which may be obtained at the various -lostal money-order offices throughout the Dominion.
