LONDON WOOL SALES. HEAVY WITHDRAWALS. (United Press Association—Br CableCopyright.) (Received 26, 11.0 a.m ) London, Sept. 25. At the wool salts 11,532 bales were offered, including 5,343 New Zealand; about 4,800 were sold. There was a moderate-sized, representative offering of greasy Merinos, a very large supply of scoured and a fair offering of New Zealand stipes. Prices were maintained. There were heavy withdrawals owing to high limits. Prices:—New Zealand greasy crossbred: Tutira, top 9fd, average 9d. Halfbred: Alandu, top 11 id. average IOJd. The sales close on October 7. At Bradford the market was poor, with no interest except for small immediate requirements. Quotations: Sixty-fours 26d, sixties 2 id, fiftysixes 181 d. fifties Isd, fortl-suus* 13Jd, forties 13Jd. Two hundred and fifty bales of Murchison clip realised 28d for combings, 26jd for clothing and 25d for pieces. A hundred and eighty bales of half bred slipe lambs NCF/Kaiapoi f< tched 121 d. FARM PRODUCE. Butter is quiet. Danish 118/-. Choicest salted New Zealand 126/- to 128/-, exceptionally 130/-. Australia* 126'- to 127/-; unsalted New Zealand 116/- to 150/-, Australian 128/- to 132/-. Cheese is slow. Now Zealand coloured 74/-, white 75/-; Australian 71/- and 73/-.
