ROYAL SHOW EXHIBITORS
CONCESSION TO SOUTH ISLAND OWNERS, STEAMER FREIGHT ON STOCK TO BE PAID. Wellington, Juno 27. At a meeting of the Council of tho Royal Agricultural Society it was decided that the Royal Show in 1931 be held in Christchurch. This year it is to be at Hastings in October. In order to encourage entries from the South Island at the Hawke’s Bay Show, the council decided to pay all steamer freight on stock shipped from the South Island. Messrs J, Begg (Dunedin) and A Hodgson (Blenheim) were aupoi'nted to till the two vacancies on the council of the society.
