WINS £lO,OOO DEEBY. (Sydney “Suu” Special.) Chicago, June 11. Heveillo Boy, owned oy John Best, a pour grocer from Memphis, won the American Derby, worth £lO,OOO, beating the favourite, Gallant Knight, by live lengths. The odds were the longest in the big race for many years, those on offer being well over 50 to 1. The owner put his last shilling on the horse, hut unfortunately he and less than £5O to wager.
