NUMBER IN NORTH ISLAND. [Per Press Association.) Wellington, June 12. Consideration was given to the report of the Regional Boundaries Committee, which lias been conductring inquiries in the North Island, at a meeting of the Town Planning Board yesterday. The report of the committee was adopted, and it was decided to forward maps showing tthe provisional boundaries recommended to each local authority for its further consideration before final recommendations were made. The committee’s proposals in connection with the North Island contemplate the division of the island into fourteen regional areas.
