HE UPSET THE PICTURE. Coughing and sneezing he upset the picture—no one could hear the talkie. You were next to him. Did you carry away his cold? Not if you were sucking Pulmonas. Pulmonas, sooththing, healing pastilles that prevent and relieve by inhalation. From chemists, 1/6 and 2/6 per tin.*
“Honky-Tonk,” showing on Saturday at the Cosy, is a Warner Bros. Vitaphone all-talking and singing attraction, and features Sophie Tucker, who is universally known as “the last of the red-hot mammas.” There is a good deal of comedy in the picture. Sophie Tucker is cast in the role of entertainer and hostess of a night club. She has given her daughter a good education, at the same time keeping her ignorant of the manner in which she earns her money. The daughter’s return, and the entrance to the scene of a young millionaire cause compheations.
