AUSTRALIA v. TASMANIA.
TWO GAMES TO BE PLAYED.
Sydney, March 6... The Australian cricketers embark for Tasmania at Melbourne to-mor-row. They will play two matches in Tasmania next week at Launceston and Hobart respectively and return at the end of the week to Melbourne. They will travel overland to Fremantle and join the Orford for England on March 17. The players have been feted during the past week by friends. All the younger players arc overwhelmed with excitement by the tour. SATURDAY’S TEAMS. The following will represent their respective firms in the annual cricket match between Messrs. H. G. Apsey and Co. and Garton and Co. at Cornwall Park on Saturday, Bth March:— H. G. Apsey and Co.—-H. G. Apsey, S. Geuke, E. Apsey, W. Irvine, S. Woon, Jack Henry, Jim Henry G. Steedman, P. Woon, D. Lloyd, E. Woon; emergencies, E. Coombe, T. Jones.
