A case presenting peculiar features was before Mr Patterson, S.M., in Rotorua yesterday. Addison Baker Creswell was charged with failing to produce a fishing license am. with fish ing without a license. Ranger Cobledick, on behalf of the Tourist Departicr.t, asked leave to withdraw the information at the request of tho Tourst Department, Wellington. The Magistrate expressed tho opinion that the ground for withdrawal was insufficient nd after an interview by the otrii.-'iil of the Tourist Department he still held the ground to bo insufficient to permit of withdrawal. The Department was not. prepared to go on with the case and it was adjourned to December 20.
