NASH OWNER-DRIVEN TAXI SERVICE.
Sir,—Certain malicious persons have been circulating a rumour to the effect that our service is being withdrawn after Christmas owing to financial stringency. Wo are unable to trace this fabrication to its source and request the hospitality of your columns to give the lie direct to this statement. We understand that the matter has been given wide publicity and as a result some of our patrons are chary of renewing their concession tickets.
The travelling public have responded to our service so well that we aro in a position to give them even better service than hitherto, and whoever is responsible for the despicable statements referred to are endeavouring to injure our service by the vilest means possible in deliberate lies. Wo would be quite prepared, Sir. to donate £5 to any public institution nominated by yourself if any of your readers can inform us of the person or persons responsible. —We are. etc.. NASH OWNER-DRIVEN TAXI SERVICE."
