FOR A WEDDING

GLADIOLI BLOOMS. (By “Stella.”) Very soon the beautiful gladioli flowers will be out in Hawke's Bay. These flowers are one of the most effective for decorative purposes, but so far have been very little used, though they keep well and grow in brilliant colours. At a recent London wedding the bride wore white, but the bridesmaids were in deep red dresses with black hats and big vivid scarves. They carried sheafs of gladioli and red gladioli were lovely as church decorations.
