TRIBUTE TO SIR JOSEPH WARD (United Press Association—By Cable— Copyright.) . London, Nov. 12. Mr. G. M. Gillett, a member of the Labour Ministry, addressing the Royal Empire Society, paid a tribute to Sir Joseph Ward, stating that he was really the initiator of the system of Empire Trade Commissioners, which was placed before the Imperial Conference in 1907. Mr. Gillett stated that, personally, he hoped to assist in ensuring that their valuable information would be increasingly disseminated.
