EDUCATION ENQUIRY
ALL CLASSES OF SCHOOLS TO BE VISITED. START NEXT WEEK. A tentative itinerary has been drawn up which will enable the members of tho Education Committee of the House of Representatives, which is to consider various matters relating to education, to inspect personally every class of educational institution in all parts of the Dominion. According to an announcement made yesterday by tho Minister of Education (Hon. 11. Atmore) a start will bo made on Monday next in Auckland, when a number of institutions, including the University, will bo inspected. Tho fixing of dates for tho remainder of tho North Island itinerary, apart from Auckland, will depend largely on circumstances.
Those persons who are interested in tho committee’s investigations are being requested to submit written evidence, if possible.
