Trial of Religious Sect.— The trial has begun at Voronezh of 42 members of the Fiodorists, a religious sect, who are charged with anti-Soviet propaganda burning villages and terrorising the Communist peasants. Dimitri Parkheminto, the leader, arrayed in picturesque white robes, entered the court chanting. “Christ has risen.” When the prosecutor began the cioss-examination Dimitri rose and said: “I refer you to Heaven for your answers.”
