N 7. sBSOCLATION MEETING. Wellington, Nov. 11. The Dominion Council of the New Zealand Lawn Tennis Association met to-night and approved of a loan of £5OO to the Wellington Association for the purpose of providing a grandstand on the association's courts at Miramar. The Canterbury delegates were the only opponents to the proposal. The chairman of the council (Mr A. G Henderson) stated that the constitution had been amended to enable the parent body to lend most moneys with or without security. A presentation of a silver entree dish was made to Mr. W. ,T. Melody in recognition of his services to tennis.
