At the Hastings Methodist Church to-night at 8 o'clock, Stainer’s “Crucifixion” will be sung by the combined choirs from the Napier and Hastings churches, the soloists being Messrs. Steel and Franklin (Napier). As the work characterises the Passion of Our Lord and is tynical of the Easter season, ns the Messiah is of Christmas, a large congregation is expected.
