There is considerable excitement ill tho capital owing to Marshal Pilsudski’s dramatic re-entry into politics, showing that he is still virtual dictator, although he recently relinquished the Premiership. Yesterday, without warning, be walked into the Senate, ordered the press nnd public from the Chamber and delivered a vigorous speech, condemning the Budget “cuts” which the Diet made, whereupon the Senate. without demur, restored all the “cuts.”
The newspapers also draw attention to Pilsudski’s allegation that prior to the coup d’etat of 1926. members of Cabinet used funds destined for the War Ministry in order to indulge in orgies at which they entertained their mistresses nnd politico] supporters. There is a general demand for Pilsudski to punish the Ministers’ names.
