CRIME IN N.S.W.
A SERIOUS INCREASE. (United Press Association—By Cable— Copyright.) (Australian and N.Z. Press Association.) (Received 1, 10.20 a.m.) Sydney, March 1. A serious increase ill crime throughout the State is indicated in the annual report of the Commissioner of Police, Mr. Mitchell. During '928 there were 3409 offences against property with violence and 11,195 without violence—increases of 388 and 668 respectively. Offences against good order number 57,389, an increase of 4334 Tho counts dealt with total 137,079. Cases of juvenile offence showed n serious increase.
