H.B. RADIO SOCIETY
ENJOYABLE CONCERT. The Hawke’s Bay Radio Society held a very enjoyable concert at the Hastings Oddfellows’ Hall last night, when a large gathering assembled to enjoy the programme, every item on which was encored. The following contributed tn <’>p entertainment, all the performers being members of the Radio Society:— Piano solo, Mr. R. Scott; selections (two), Hawaiian Orchestra; ventriloquism, Mr. W. Inge; flute solo, Miss Lusher; song, Mr. .1. Stickland; sketch, Messrs D. Rees and A. Collins; conjuring. Messrs E. Culver ■and G. Warren. At the conclusion of the concert, supper was provided, followed by a dance, the mirsic being supplied by an electric “pick-up” and a piano. A very happy reunion concluded about midnight.
