Mr. Alister Clark, the world-famed rose-grower of Glenara, Victoria, has selected a seedling rose which in his opinion is the finest he has raised, and has signified his intention of naming it “Lady Rhodes” and presenting the stock to the Canterbury Horticultural Society, to be used for the benefit of the society’s funds. At a meeting of the society the chairman stated that in eighteen months or two years it was expected that they would have enough stock for all members of the society
