(Received 1, 8.20 a.m.) London, Nov. 30, "The Times’ ” Paris correspondent states that by 385 votes to 195 the Government survived the first trial of strehgh. The Socialists demanded postponement of the military estimates for a committee inquiry. M. Cheron, Minister of Finance, refused, saying it would be regarded lis an act of defiance. He appealed for a vote of confidence, calling on all good Republicans to rally round the Minister responsible for the country’s defence.
