Information was received from the Napier Hospital this afternpon that Mr Henry Mitchell, of Hastings, who was found lying unconscious on the concrete road, near the Karamu Bridge, yesterday, has recovered con sciousness. He suffered concussion, but no complications are anticipated, and he is now steadily improving. It is stated that the total quantity of potatoes shipped from Timaru during the past season was 97,410 sacks. Most of these went to Auckland.
