The Supreme Court at Masterton yesterday was occupied with a case in which Walter Scott Bagby, the well known jockey, was charged with having, on April 14. 1928, committed a serious offence upon n Masterton girl, 18} years of age. The jury retired at 5.55 and returned at 10. failing to agree. A new trial was ordered for the October session of the Supreme Court in Wellington.
