CAPT. LOEWENSTEIN’S ESTATE
VALUED AT £1,000,000. EQUAL DIVISION BETWEEN WIDOW AND SON. (Australian Press Assn.—United Service.) (Received 10, 12.20 p m.) Captain Lowenstein's estate, valued at about £8,000,000, will be divided equally between his widow and son. The Treasury benefits little as nearly all Captain Lowenstein’s money is invested in companies registered abroad and is therefore exempt from British Death Duties. It is estimated that he was worth £20,000,000 a few weeks before his death.
