ERECTION OF NEW POST OFFICE. INCREASED APPROPRIATION TO BE ASKED FOB. (Special to ‘Tribune.") Parliament Buildings, Aug. 9. In the House of Representatives yesterday, Sir George Hunter (Waipawa) asked the Postmaster-General whether he will favourably consider the question of increasing the amount cn .the Estimates for the erection of a new Post Office at Waipawa. The Hon. K. S. Williams replied: While it will not be possible to proceed with the erection of the now Post Office building at Waipawa in the immediate future, it is intended when dealing with the Public Works Estimates for the current years to ask Parliament to increase the appropriation for the work.
