HARBOUR COMMISSION
COSTS HEAVIER THAN ANTICI FATED. (Special to "Tribune."! Wellington, Aug.. 8. The cost of the Napier Harbour Commission last year was heavier than was anticipated. The Estimates reveal that the incidental charges amounted to £4035, as compared with last year’s vote of £3500. Another item on the Estimates is £9766 as payment to the Native Land Settlement Account of part of the cost of the watershed area at Lake Waikarcmoana for scenic and waler conservation purposes.
