SOUTHERN CROSS TESTS. LOAD OF PETROL ABOARD. (United Press Association —By Cable— Copyright.) (Australian and N.Z Press Assn.l Sydney, August 6. Squadron Leader C. E. Smith, Flight Lieutenant C. P. T. Uuhn and party conducted a successful test witfi the Southern Cross this afternoon, with 500 gallons of petrol aboard. The time of departure from the Richmond aerodrome for Perth is uncertain.
