BOWLING.
ST. LEONARDS CLUB. ANNUAL MEETING. The annual meeting of St. Leonards Bowling Club was held last week-end. The report states that the season was very successful, financial and otherwise. The following were the winners of the club competitions :—Campbell Cup, Giles. Clark. Burfield. R. Schofield : Pairs, T. Keith and W. Godber (s.); Colts, R. Giles; Progressive Pairs, W. Lewis (lead), R. Schofield (s.j. Electric light was installed on the green during the season, but owing to unsettled weather the club did not get the advantages of playing that it otherwise would have had. Thanks were due to the ladies for the valuable service they had given to the club, anil to the Press, The report was adopted. ELECTION OF OFFICERS. The following officers and executive were elected: —Patron Mr H. M. Campbell, M.P.; president, Mr J. Maher; vice-president, Mr J. B. Brown; treasurer, Mr J. Giles; committee, Messrs Hawley, Munro, Wells, Drury, and Allaway. The appointment of a secretary was held over.
