WIFE SHOOTS HUSBAND’S SECRETARY. ' THEN POISONS HERSELF AND CHILDREN. j [United Service.] (Received 4, 12.30 p.m.) Vancouver, Aug. 3, An amazing tragedy occurred at the office of the “News Tribune’’ at Waco, Texas. Mrs. Robert Ashworth, wife of the cashier of the newspaper, appeared, and, without uttering a word, fired two shots at her husband’s secretary, Charlotte Lawson, killing her instantly. Mrs. Ashworth then drank poison and administered doses to her two young daughters, who were with her, the three dying before they reached hospital. •
