IN THE MATTER of “The Land Drainage Act, 1908,” and its amendments, and “The Bating Act, 1925.” VOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a meeting of the above Board to be holden in the Office of Rainbow, Hobbs and Nesbitt, Queen Street, Hastings, on THURSDAY, the 16th day of AUGUST, 1928, at 2.30 p.m., it is the Board’s intention to make and levy a GENERAL RATE on all rateable property within the Raupare Drainage Board District, and that such rate will be levied on a graduated scale made in accordance with Sections 31 to 37 of “The Land Drainage Act, 1908,” and its amendments. That is to say:— All rateable property classified under Sub-See. A of Sec. 33-Sevon-teen-thirtieths (17-30) of a penny for every pound of capital value. All rateable property classified under Sub-See. B of Sec. 33-Eleven-thirtieths (11-30) of a penny for every pound of capital value. All rateable property classified under Sub-Sec. C of Sec. 33-Five-thirtieths (5.30) of a penny for every pound of capital value. The said rate to be for the year beginning on the Ist day of April, 1928, and ending on the 31st day of March, 1929, and to be payable in one amount on the Ist day of September, 1928, at the Office of the Board, Queen Street, Hastings. On and after the date of this notice the Valuation Roll for the said District will be open for inspection at the Office of the Raupare Drainage Board, Queen Street, Hastings, during office hours, that is to say between the hours of 10 a.m. anl 4 p.m. on all week days, except Saturday.
