UNLAWFULLY ON PREMISES
SEQUEL TO SHOOTINC CASE. ACCUSED PLACED ON PROBATION. [Per Press Association.] Timaru, Aug. 3. At the Supreme Court before Mr. Justice Adams, Bernard Lewis Blackwell was found guilty of having, at Otaio on May 11, been found by night without lawful excuse on the premises of William Alfred Ancell this being a sequel to a shooting case. Blackwell was placed on probation for twelve months, special conditions being tliat he pay the costs of the prosecution, report to the probation officer monthly regarding his income and expenditure, make proper provision for his wife’s maintenance, take out a prohibition order, keep away from his wife’s relations, and pay for the damage to Barr’s house.
