THE PEACE PACT
NEW ZEALAND SIGNATORY. SIR JAMES PARR APPOINTED. (Pe* Press Association). Wellington, Aug. 2. The Prime Minister announced in the House of Representatives to-day that the invitation to sign the Kellogg anti war compact would be accepted at Paris on August 27, when the pact would be signed on behalf of New Zealand by Sir James Parr. With him would be associated the Hon. G. J. Anderson, a member of the Cabinet. (An overnight cable from London stated: It is understood that the Rt. Hon. S. M. Bruce has deputed the Hon. A. J. McLachlan to sign the Kellogg pact. France has yet to decide the nature of the ceremonial).
