Seasonable Forecast for Hawke’s Bay and District ISSUED BY BARGAIN BILL (Exclusive to “Tribune.”) Forecast for 48 hours from 9 a.m. to-morrow, covering thi whole of Hawke’s Bay province, and any other province interested:— The recent tropical disturbance experienced throughout the Province is now a negligible quantity, at least negligible in comparison to the upheaval about to take place in the main business centre of Hastings. A cyclonic storm centre which we will call “Good Fortune,” is gathering and approaching the Men’s Wear Store of BLACKMORE’S. This we fear will be met at this spot by a violent upheaval which we will call “SALE.” The meeting of these mighty forces will scatter the goods in this famous store to the uttermost ends of the Province, and while we are particularly sorry for Blackmore’s Stock, this will be more than compensated for by the benefit received by the Men and Boys of this fortunate Province. A full forecast, with time and particulars of this upheaval, will appear in Wednesday’s issue.
