NATIONAL PLAYING FIELDS AS SOCLATION. SUCESS OF THE MOVEMENT. [Brltisn Official Wireless.] Rugby. May 25. The movement started "by thejjNational Playing Fields Association, for providing out-door recreation facilities in thickly populated areas, has resulted in voluntary gifts of £330,000 and 400 acres of land. The Ministry of Health, also has sanctioned loans by local authorities amounting to £300,000 for the acquision of a further 1300 acres to be used as playing fields.
