COMING EVENTS WILLIAM HEUCHAN. FAMOUS ACTOR-SINGER. Mr. William Heughan, Scotland's incomparable actor-singer, who made himself so popular witn his audiences when ho visited Hastings two or three years ago, will again appear at the Municipal Theatre on monday, 11th June. With him as assisting artists are Maud Bell, the renowned English ’cellist, who has made a very considerable name in London and most of the capital cities of Europe, as well as in Canada and the United States, and Gladys Sayer, the wellknown pianiste from the Brussels Conservatoire, whom many of our readers will no doubt remember as being associated with Heughan on his last tour, and who has shared in honours gained l by. him throughout the world. ITALIAN GRAND OPERA. The Fuller-Gonsalez Italian Grand Opera N.Z. season commences at Invercargill on June 18th. The Manuka leaves Melbourne on June 14th direct for the Bluff (one of the few Melbourne-Bluff services nowadays) and this enables the company to finish their season at Melbourne on June 13th and open at Invercargill on the 18th. The following dates have now been definitely arranged by Mr. Wm. Burton, N.Z. general manager for Fullers’ Theatres Ltd. Invercargill, June 18th; Dunedin June 23rd; Oamaru, July 9th; Timaru, July 12th; Christchurch, July 14th; Wellington, July 31st; Palmerston North, August 20th; Napier, August 23rd ; Hastings. August 27th; Wanganui, August 29th; New Plymouth, September Ist; Hamilton, Sept. 6th. Following Hamilton, Auckland will probably be the next town visited.

LONDON MUSICAL COMEDY. Sir Benjamin and Jo]in Fuller's London Musical Comedy Company opened a three weeks’ season at His Majesty’s Theatre, Dunedin on Saturday, May 19th. Capacity business has almost continually followed the company so far', and there is every reason to expect the same results will obtain throughout the whole period of the N.Z. tour.
