PROGRESSIVE HASTINGS ?
(To the Editor) Sir,—Could vou inform your readers whether Hastings possesses an ambulance or if it is usual to send one out from Napier as happened yesterday in the Karamu road accident? Surely this progressive town should boast two ambulances. Yours etc , EXPLANATION. Hastings 26/5/28.
[The ambulance was not sent out from Napier. The victim of the accident was taken to the hospital in the Hospital Board’s ambulance permanently stationed at Hastings. Ed. H.8.T.l
